1 Very broadly stated , it is a duty to treat the trespasser with ordinary humanity … the occupier is not at fault if he has done as much as is required of him , if he has taken reasonable steps to deter the trespasser from entering or remaining on the premises , or part of the premises , in which he will encounter a dangerous situation .
